Marilyn Schoeneman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Schoeneman of Alliance, Nebraska, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Schnell and Edna Schnell (Bauer); her husband Gene J. Schoeneman; her daughter Debra Lynn Bannan; and her siblings, Shirley Varilek and Jerry Schnell.

She is survived by: her children, Keith Schoeneman (Teresa), Scott Schoeneman (Cindy) of Alliance and Janet Workman (Craig) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Sarah Bannan, Trent Bannan (Gina), Rachel Schoeneman, Anna Schoeneman, Seth Schoeneman (Kaylie), Renata Knight (Darvont'e), Evan Schoeneman (Brionna), Miranda Workman, Makenzie Workman and Grant Workman; her great grandchildren, Ross Boyd, Reed Boyd, Mia Bannan, Gavin Bannan, Raval Knight and Ryder Schoeneman; and her sister Joyce Galyen of Alliance. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to: Highland Park Memory Care Unit, Gideons International or the Evangelical Free Church.
