He was predeceased by: his parents, Dollie Marie Smith Pappas and William E Smith; and his grandson Nicholas Smith. He is survived by: his children, Brad Smith (Kelly), Tedi Davis (Richard) and Shawn Heckman (Rusty); his grandchildren, Kayla, Hunter, Andrew (Charity), Jennifer (Rayce), Macenzie and Brandon (Violet); and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Lillian, Titus, Axel and Georgia.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Alliance Cemetery (2379 Co Rd 58, Alliance, NE 69301).
