He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lydia Hauger, Colton Buskirk, Adelyn Buskirk, Jack Underwood, Ben Underwood and Ivy Underwood; his wife Shirley Underwood of Alliance; his children, Lisa Hauger (Chad) of Alliance, Tom Underwood (Anna) of Alliance and Crystal Buskirk (Bryan) of Alliance; and his brothers, Garry Underwood (Jo Ellen) of Alliance and Jerry Underwood (Connie) of Alliance. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
