He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Irving Youngquist and Gretchen Eleanor Youngquist (Giles); and his son-in-law Dene (Bonnie). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Youngquist (Solterbeck); his children, Beverli, Michael (Amber) and Matthew (Misti); his grandchildren, Rachel (Michael), Olivia, Macie, Jasmine (Peyton), Delanie (Dusty), Gracelyn, Cassina, Ryan, Braxton, Libby, Thor, Olive and Audri; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Cayson, Brydger, Tanner and Olivia; his sister Nancy Murphy (Murphy); his nephew Bill (Lauren); his niece Kate; and his sister-in-law Mary Neher.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery (2610 Co Rd 57, Alliance, NE 69301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Henry Methodist Church (1458 Yorick Ave, Henry, NE 69358).
