She was predeceased by : her mother Helene Tarvin (Thompson); her husbands, Dale Rider and Arlie Madison; her father Tays Tarvin; her siblings, Robert Tarvin, Jeanne Preusch and Carol Schwarz; and her grandson Zachary Porter.

She is survived by : her sister JoAnn Oelke of Ottawa; her sister-in-law Jan Tarvin of Brighton; her nephew Paul Rider (Monica) of Littleton; and her nieces, Rebecca Keslar (Gary) of Ocean Springs, Kathryn Reid (Michael) of Belgrade and Susan Rider (Todd Porter) of Lake Bluff. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bauer-Torrey & Mach Funeral Home - Alma (404 John St, Alma, NE 68920). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Alma Cemetery.
