She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Stratton and Clara Ellen Stratton (Schaefer); her husband Kenneth Joe Lanman; and her daughters, Connie Lanman and Barbara Lanman.
She is survived by: her sister Ruth Atherton; her daughter Donna Anthony of Buckeye, Arizona; her grandchildren, Aniece Collins (Josh) of Pawling, Reece Sukovaty (Sarah) of Roca, Nebraska, Amy Jo Anthony of Glendale, Arizona, Callee Anthony of Buckeye and Sara Reynolds (John) of Phoenix, Arizona; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Sofia, Wyatt, Elise, Ensley, Caleb, Emma, Alma, Selman, Antonia, Levi and Mason. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In place of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the non-profit Nebraska Music Education Association in memory of Berniece Lanman to support music education and performance in Nebraska.
