Donald E. Tripe Obituary
We announce the death of Donald E. Tripe of Alma, Nebraska, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 87. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph and Dorothy Elizabeth Tripe (Becker); his wife Shirley Tripe; his brother Robert "Bob" Tripe (Lana); his siblings-in-law, Larene Bantam, Gary Christensen and Kenneth Bantam; and his sons-in-law, Stephen Meinecke and Thomas Gaburo.
He is survived by: his children, Jodi Gaburo of Alma and Brad Tripe (Janna) of Alma; his granddaughters, Brianne Romeo (Justin) of Oxford, Brook Siebels (Troy) of Oxford and Stephanie Meinecke of Turlock, California; his great grandchildren, Rylan, Colson, Kimberli, Nicklin, Taryn, Sydney, Harper, Teagan and Bailey; his sister Mary Janice White (Lester) of Orleans; and his sisters-in-law, Margie Lange (Don) of Ferndale, Washington and Karon Christensen of Alma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Don's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
