He is survived by : his brother Paul; his wife Rebecca "Becky" Gilbert of Alma; his children, Paul Seyler (Cindy) of Missouri City, Texas, Nora Christensen (Todd) of Alma, Brenda Engleman (Mark) of Adel, Iowa and Brian Seyler (Katie) of Alma; his grandchild Lauren Peitzmeier (Jacob) of Grand Island, Nebraska; his children, Regan Reel (Jonny) of Adel, Iowa, Rachel Seyler (Brian Lyster) of Dallas, Texas, Sydney McLaughlin (Reece) of San Diego, California, Cameron Seyler of Missouri City, Karri Christensen of Alma, Justin Seyler of Missouri City, Delaney Seyler of Alma, Grant Engleman of Adel, Parker Seyler of Alma and Bristol Seyler of Alma; his great grandchild Jett McLaughlin; his grandson Carter Reel; his sisters, Mary Jane Groman and Jean Standish (Robert); and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Mouw (Richard), Kay Nussey (Lowell), Kara Shales and Joanne Gilbert-Cannon (James). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Jim's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
