Peggy Brauer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Brauer of Alma, Nebraska, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Barth and Iola Barth (Wood); her sister Patricia Kay; her parents-in-law, Ada and Bill Brauer; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Scherbarth and Ron Rindy.

She is survived by: her husband Randal "R. D." Brauer of Alma; her children, Kristi McGuire (Brian) of Torrington, Wyoming, Kim Wohlers (Rich) of Osceola, Missouri and Bill Brauer (Bekki) of Staplehurst, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Melissa Shepherd (Mark) of Loma, Colorado, Daly McGuire of Laramie, Wyoming, Kyra McGuire (Alex Howe) of Cheyenne, Wyoming, MacKenzie of Osceola, Missouri, Skylar of Osceola, Missouri, Shaylee of Osceola, Missouri, Makaylee Wohlers of Osceola, Missouri, Dharma and Sierra Brauer of Staplehurst; her great grandchildren, Mya, Hailey and Casen; her siblings, Nancy Scherbarth of Alliance, Nebraska and Melvin Barth (Kathleen) of Hay Springs, Nebraska; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Ayers (Denny) of Fort Morgan, Colorado, Karen Tuttle (Irvin) of Corvallis, Montana, June Rindy of Olympia, Washington, Sandra Trujillo (Jerry) of Mesa, Arizona and Brenda Voss (Greg Dudney) of Kimball, Nebraska. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service was held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (310 US-183 Hwy, Alma, NE 68920).

A memorial has been established in Peggy's honor and kindly suggested to Peace Lutheran Church in Alma.
