With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sharon Elaine Schluntz of Alma, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Petitjean and Golda Petitjean (Mayo); her husband Merwin Schluntz; her sister Louise Dankers (Jim); her siblings-in-law, LeRoy Schluntz (Vicki), Genevieve Ziems (Wendell) and Vivian Schluntz; her niece Linda Sturgis; and her great-nephew Brandon Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Downer (Andrew) of Cambridge, Nebraska and Doug Schluntz of Alma; her siblings-in-law, Clinton Schluntz of Oxford and Jean Beiriger (William) of Holdrege; and her close friend Loyd Lowe of Huntley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Sharon's honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
