With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harlan Steinhauser of Amherst, Nebraska, born in Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harlan Steinhauser to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert A. Steinhauser and Ethel Steinhauser (Anderson); his sisters, Karen Ann Steinhauser, Sharon Kay Steinhauser, Connie Kreutzer and Reva Wempen; and his siblings-in-law, Harry Wempen, Gary Halliwel, Albin Shubert, Andy Schroeder and Kathy Steinhauser.

He is survived by : his wife Marlene Steinhauser of Kearney; his daughter Alice Thomsen (Kent) of Axtell; his grandchildren, Lindsay Thomsen (Zach Wigder) of Omaha and Dylan Thomsen (Krystin) of Humphrey; his stepgranddaughter Audra Akhurst (Darren) of Walterboro, SC; his great grandchildren, Hallie Thomsen, Marlow, Sloane and Peyton Akhurst; his brother Dan Steinhauser of Kearney; and his brother-in-law Don Kreutzer of Amherst. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
