He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bryan and Mary Thompson (Winchester); his siblings, Russell Thompson, Mary Jane Mitera and Barbara Abel; his brother-in-law Ed Schulte; and his granddaughter Lauren Gail Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Headrick; his children, David Thompson (Carla) of Las Cruces, NM, Christopher Thompson (Lisa) of Greeley, CO and Sonya Miller (Greg) of Sandy, UT; his grandchildren, Kevin Thompson (Lauren) of Tucson, AZ and Mattison Sperry of Ault, CO; and his siblings, Roger Thompson (Susann) of Kansas City, MO, Dana Thompson (Sheri) of Aurora, NE, Frances Linegar (Steve) of Lexington, NE and Kimberly Schulte of Ansley, NE.. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
