He was predeceased by : his mother Rose G Kaps (Fagot); his sister Karen Connick (Terry); and his parents-in-law, Allan and Doris Jepson. He is survived by : his father Wayne "Pete" A. Kaps of Kearney; his wife Wilma Jepson of Arcadia; his children, Tyler Kaps (Melissa) of Ord and Krista Scott (Shane) of Broken Bow; his grandchildren, Shelton Scott, Hadley Scott and Brogan Scott; his sisters, Connie Mohatt (Mike) of Omaha, Carol Masek (Gary) of Valparaiso, Cheryl Kaelin (Rick) of O'Fallon, MO and Kay Mayer (Ed) of Plano, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Carrier (Mitch) of Onawa, IA, Waran Jepson (Pam) of Greeley and Wayne Jepson of Moorhead, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
