He was predeceased by: his parents, Lou Ann (Bucholtz) and Steaphen Hill; his former wife Marlene Roumph; and his siblings, Steve and Peggy.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Gatzemeyer; his children, JaCindra, Jarrod, Dusty (Pat), Josh (Emma) and Brittney; his son-in-law David Taylor, Jr.; his caregiver Linda; his grandchildren, Brianna, David III (Britni), Cheyenne (Daniel), Toad Chance (Dakota), Rileigh (Bradley), Chase Hagen (Lauren), Olivia, Aspen, James and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Kaylen, Brendyn, Blakely, Katie Jo, Ella, Roper, Kashlynn, Nero and Sloane; and his siblings, Jackie Gail (Ronnie), Terri Jo, Tom (Phyllis), Todd (Laurie) and Tracy.
