With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doug W. Wilson of Arthur, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doug left this world on October 18, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wilson and Phyllis "Bader" Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Sizer; his children, Jennifer Evans (Tony) of North Platte, Mark Wilson (Sandi) of Arthur and Michael Wilson (Kim) of Arthur; his brother Richard Wilson of Chandler Arizona; and his in-laws, David Sizer, Marjorie Leistritz (Dale), John Sizer (Linda) and Kathryn Sizer-Vedder (Henry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Draucker Funeral Home (700 N Spruce St, Ogallala, NE 69153). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Veterans Hall.
A memorial has been established to the Arthur Hospitality CommitteeInterment will be in the Arthur Cemetery.
