Mary leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mary’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mary will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Kana and Cecilla Kana (Piskor). She is survived by: her children, Theresa Fuhrer (Wes) and Ric Lutz (Sandy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (1625 Adams St, Ashland, NE 68003). A rosary was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
