She was predeceased by: her father Harvey Louis Halm; her siblings, Coleta, Roger and William; and her brother-in-law Ken.
She is survived by: her mother-in-law Hilda Christina Doeden Halm; her husband Don Butterfield of Atkinson; her children, David (Jackie) of Atkinson, Daryl (Makala) of Atkinson and Darla of Burwell; her grandchildren, Mitch, Kelsey, Trevor, Tyler, Blake, Jacey and Teagan; and her in-laws, Floyd, Pat Butterfield of Kearney, Bob, Kay Ries of North Platte, Carolyn Butterfield of Lincoln and Lenore Halm of Omaha.
