Darlene M. Meade Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene M. Meade in Auburn, Nebraska, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Lester Finnell and Theresa Finnell (Soeder); her husband Roy Giles Meade; her brother Halbert Finnell; her son-in-law John Pyatt; and her sisters-in-law, Lucille, Emily and Joyce.
She is survived by: her children, Janelle Pyatt of Alliance, Jeffrey Meade (Shannon Stemm) of Auburn and Andrew Meade of Auburn; her grandson James Pyatt of Council Bluffs, Iowa; her child Madison Meade of Chicago, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Delores Yoakum of Chadron, Nebraska. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bates-Gould Chapel (1020 W 10th St, Alliance, NE 69301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
