He is survived by: his wife Mary of Auburn; his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Teresa of Auburn; his daughter Kim; his son-in-law Terry Hahn of Johnson; his grandchildren, Abriel Schlange of Lenexa, KS, Alyson Steele (Brendan) of Falls City, Allan Schlange (Jenna Burger) of Auburn, Kacie Gyhra (Ted) of Pawnee City, Ty Hahn (Marriah) of Hooper and Jadyn Hahn of Johnson; his great grandchildren, Huxton Steele, Elizabeth, Jackson Burger, Owen and Theo Gyhra; his sister Marilyn Larson of Tallahassee, FL; and his nephew Thad Larson (Suhail) of Tallahassee, FL. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Hemmingsen Funeral Home (801 S St, Auburn, NE 68305). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (2012 O St, Auburn, NE 68305). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
