Vivian Oestmann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vivian Oestmann of Auburn, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Vivian had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Vivian may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Oestmann (Alicia), Daniel Oestmann (Susan) and Shari Hohnstadt (Daniel); her grandchildren, D. J. Oestmann, Phillip Hohnstadt and Sarah Bogdanoff (Micah); and her brother Eiber Alberts. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hemmingsen Funeral Home (801 S St, Auburn, NE 68305). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (634 Alden Dr, Auburn, NE 68305).
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or Boys Town.
