In loving memory of Carole Mardell Hauf of Aurora, Nebraska, who departed this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 86. Carole leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Winifred Uttecht; her husband Dick; her daughter Penny; and her siblings, Maxine Fisher, Lorraine Mitchell, Winnie Osbon, Kenneth Barnhart and H. Duane Barnhart.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Kraft of Aurora, Susan Penner (Tom) of Central City and David Hauf (Randi) of Aurora; her sisters, Delores Patocka of Norfolk and Mary Ann Benson (Gary) of Battle Creek; and her sister-in-law Minerva Barnhart of Fort Belvoir, VA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church (209 S 16th St, Aurora, NE 68818).
Memorials may be made in care of the family for future designation.
