She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Nielsen and Bernice I. Nielsen (Andersen); her parents-in-law, Dean and Virginia Shaneyfelt; and her brother-in-law William Shaneyfelt.

She is survived by: her husband Mark Shaneyfelt; her children, April Campbell (John) of Aurora, Paul (Launa Fuller) of Grand Island, Danielle Shaneyfelt of Aurora and Anna Shaneyfelt (Carl Hamm) of Aurora; her grandsons, Richard Shaneyfelt (Amanda) of Omaha, Michael Shaneyfelt (Stacia) of Grand Island, Ryan Campbell of Aurora, Isaac Shaneyfelt of Lincoln and Aaron Campbell of Aurora; her great grandchildren, Saige, Silas, Skyler Shaneyfelt of Omaha, Cailyn, Addison and Jaxson Shaneyfelt of Grand Island; her brothers, Gary Nielsen (Marcia) of Omaha and Greg Nielsen (Marcia) of Aurora; her sister-in-law Sandra Shaneyfelt of Castle Rock, CO; her aunt Martha Watson of Kennewick, WA; and her uncle Sheldon Andersen (Janet) of Medicine Lake, MT.. She is also survived by 6 nephews and 1 niece.

Memorials may be made in care of the family for future designation.
