She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Mike" Michael Barron, Jr.; her daughters, Brenda Chop (Bob) of Ravenna, Barbra Mikkelsen (Scott) of Aurora and Bertina Carlson (Jeff) of Overton; her siblings, Gene George (Shari) and Bethel George; her grandchildren, Alexandra Meduna (Michael) of Overton, Ashley Carlson of Kearney, Dalton Carlson of Overton, Austin Mikkelsen (Kathlyn), Carson Mikkelsen of Wichita, KS, Mikayla Roth (Chris) of Ravenna and Kyle Chop of Kearney; her great grandchildren, Eleanore Mikkelsen and Myles Meduna; and her siblings-in-law, John May of Aurora and Kaye Villines (Charlie) of Kentucky. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aurora United Methodist Church (1104 A St, Aurora, NE 68818). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in care of the family to designate at a later date.
