She was predeceased by: her father Orville Osborne; her grandmothers, Ida Logan Lincoln and Emma Plessinger Bedient; her daughter Rebecca Jayne; her sister Joyce; her mother Mildred Lincoln Bedient Hendryx; her stepfather Jim Hendryx; her husband Eugene Larsen; her brother Melvin (Bud); her siblings-in-law, Margaret Bedient, Melvin, Darlene Larsen, Norman and Betty Larsen; her son-in-law Ron Robertson; and her nephews, Steve Larsen and Joe Sisson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Aberdeenshire) of Inverurie, Debra Troester (Steve) of Hampton, Vicki Preuss (Richard) of Lindsey and Lori Ash (Don Ash) of Wahoo; her grandchildren, Peter Larsen (Katherine), Jenny Dunn (Matt), Jeff Troester (Kim), John Troester, Joe Troester (Alli), Shannon Robertson, Troy Robertson (Leah), Nick Ash (Kim) and Nate Ash; her great grandchild Sydney Jayne Ash (Mason); and her grandchildren, Jackson, Judah, Jane, Amelia, Molly, Lucy, Addis and Grady. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, honorary grandchildren, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higby-McQuiston Mortuary (1404 L St, Aurora, NE 68818). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the United Lutheran Church (812 1st St, Hampton, NE 68843).
She held several leadership positions in the International Information/Word Processing Association and was recognized for her contributions to the growth of Management Information Systems professionals at a time when women's opportunities for advancement in the workplace were not as common as they are today—a legacy of which her family is particularly proud.
