The passing of Billy C. Carlson of Axtell, Nebraska leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 86. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Carlson (Evelyn Roggie) and Evelyn Carlson; and his siblings, Sonja Miller and Tom Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Keta; and his children, Gary Ray, Kevin Leroy, Troy Lynn, Tine Marie and Brenda Lea. He is also survived by 5 Grand Children, 3 Step Grand Children 14 Great Grand Children.

“A dedicated member of the US Air Force, Billy served his country for 20 years. His service included two tours in England at Sculthorpe and Mildenhall, as well as assignments in Dover, Delaware; Yokota, Japan; Laredo, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; Taiwan; and San Bernardino, California. He retired from the Air Force in Grand Island. Following his distinguished military career, Billy worked as an HVAC technician and later served the community as a driver for the Handibus in Kearney.”

Billy was also a proud great-grandfather to Dietrich, Racel, Elonna, and Teyla Fowler, as well as Silas and Phoenix Carlson.”
