He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Rush and Peral Rush (Jameson); his sisters, LaDonna Lammers (Milfred) and Carolyn Keen-Lea; his siblings-in-law, Mary Mason (Jim) and Paul Harms (Barb); and his great grandchild Oaklynn Anne Fishell.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Rush; his children, Kym Rush, Kelly Rush and Kari Beth Fishell (Kevin); his grandchildren, Kassie Ristau (Brandon), Karter Rush (Nichole), Kameren Rush, Bobbie Rahmann (Daine), Jackie Johnson, Austin Fishell (Emily) and Camille Fishell (Layton Dockweiler); and his great grandchildren, Maddex Ristau, Rush Rahmann, Hattie Rahmann, Winne Rahmann, Kayton Rush, Karsyn Rush, Callum Fishell and Emersyn Fishell. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church - Axtell (406 A Ave, Axtell, NE 68924). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lloy Dean's honor are kindly suggested to the family for future designation.
