Kay C. Schwedhelm Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kay C. Schwedhelm of Bancroft, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay C. Schwedhelm to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lauren and LaVerne ML Schwedhelm (Radler); his parents-in-law, Richard and Geraldine Hazel Gatrost (Beckner); his children-in-law, Pam Schwedhelm and Robert Sparks; his brother-in-law Robert Kai; and his grandson Cody Sparks.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta Irene Gatrost; his children, Cindy Sparks, Kevin Schwedhelm (Shelly) and Alan Schwedhelm (Shari); and his grandchildren, Angie Whitley, Robert Sparks, Amanda Taylor (Michael), Lindsey Munson (Mike), Kiley Hump, Nicholas Schwedhelm (Mikayla), Nicole Schwedhelm (David Anderson), Stephanie Schwedhelm (Jim Koch), Lauren Schwedhelm, Alaina Schwedhelm, Kayla Schwedhelm (Jacob Meehan), Beth Palmer (Cole), Andrew Milan (Allie) and Kathryn Andersen (Tony). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, neighbors, and friends.
