She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar DeVall and Iona DeVall (Christ); her husband Victor; her daughter Cindy Koch; and her siblings, Lora Hoffman, Marge Clausen, Dorthy DeVall, JoAnn Copeland, Chuck DeVall and Tom DeVall.

She is survived by : her daughter Lisa (Danny Witt) of Ainsworth; and her siblings, Bertha Shay of Milwaukie, Linda DeVall of Ainsworth, Ione Anderson (Rick) of Bassett, Ed DeVall (Lottie) of Ainsworth, Harold DeVall (Janice) of Bassett and Bob DeVall (Bonnie) of Stratton, Colorado. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Helen's name for a future designation.
