She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Knapp and Anna Knapp (Long); her husband Douglas Klein; her grandson Keaton Alan Klein; her brother-in-law Glenn Staver; and her nephew Adam Knapp.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Goodwater (Mike) of Battle Creek, Steven Klein (Alexandra Kummer-Klein) of Carpinteria, CA and Curtis Klein (Julie) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Hannah Goodwater of Lincoln, Claire Goodwater of Lincoln and Jaxson Klein (Emily); and her siblings, Shirley Staver of Battle Creek and Allen Knapp (Kay) of Battle Creek.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church, Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, Lied Public Library all of Battle Creek.
