We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2023, at the age of 86, Inez Swartz of Battle Creek, Nebraska, born in Stanton, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvin Blattert and Myrtle Blattert (Pedersen); her husband John Swartz of Paul's Lutheran Church; her son Brien; her sons-in-law, Jim Sperandio and Jerry Smith; and her granddaughter Chelsea Sperandio.

She is survived by : her children, Pam Sperandio Smith of Grants, NM, Mike Swartz (Ann) of Platte City, MO and Mark Swartz of Norfolk; her daughter-in-law Kathy Swartz of Battle Creek; and her sister Gladys Henseleit of Norfolk. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church in Battle Creek, Battle Creek Public Library, Community Pride Care Center, or the Battle Creek Betterment Club.
