He is survived by: his mother Nancy Hughes (Higbee) of Battle Creek; his wife Connie; his sons, Chuck Hughes (Jaime) of Norfolk and Nick Hughes (Emily) of Battle Creek; his grandchildren, Jailynn, Easton, Makenna, Mikayla and Mallory; his siblings, Pat Hughes (Barb) of Greeley, CO, John Hughes (Sharon) of Volga, SD, Jim Hughes (Maria) of Bellevue, Tom Hughes (Jean) of Tilden, Mary Carney (Joe) of Gretna, Bob Hughes (Catherine) of Dublin, Pete Hughes of Lincoln and Paul Hughes (Nieves) of Norfolk; his sister-in-law Colleen Overton of Benbrook, TX; and his aunt Polly Fischer of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
