Robert Wayne Bonnes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Wayne Bonnes in Bayard, Nebraska, who passed away on September 20, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Bonnes and Marie Bonnes; and his siblings, Randy, Emil Jr. and Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Batt; his daughters, Sandra Leever (Steve) and Patricia Thompson (Kevin); his brother Stan; and his sister-in-law Margie. He is also survived by four granddaughters; one grandson; three great granddaughters; eight great grandsons.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel (3201 Ave. B, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Emerald Court in Scottsbluff.
