She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Emil and Mary Bernadine Shannon (Miller); and her husband Bill Whitaker. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Whitaker of Gering, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Josh Ellstrom (Amanda) of Vernal, Micah Ellstrom (Kristi) of Post Falls, Kayla Mendez of Gering and Colt Whitaker (Alexis Murray) of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; her great grandchildren, Faith Markey, Damien, Joshua, Grace Ellstrom, Elias, Grayson Mendez, Theodore and Blythe Ellstrom; her great great grandchildren, Saige and Wrenleigh Markey; and her sisters, Paula Carlson (Rod) of Windsor and Terri Renfro (Barry) of San Jose, California..
