She was predeceased by: her parents, William Denison and Lola Mae Denison (Wolf) of Hooper; her father-in-law Elden Karlin; and her brother-in-law Bud Foust. She is survived by: her husband Tom of Beatrice; her children, Julie Sleister (Matt) of Fremont, J. T. Karlin (Jill) of Pickrell and Justin Karlin (Erica) of Pickrell; her grandchildren, Matthew Sleister, Riley Simpson (Tate), Katie Sleister, Sam Sleister, Bryce Karlin, Cole Karlin, Austin Karlin, Jacob Karlin and Ainsley Karlin; her great grandchildren, Barron Simpson, Lola Mae Simpson and Izzy Simpson; her siblings, Joyce Foust (Bud) of Hooper, Bob Denison (Donna) of Fremont, Dan Denison (Terri) and Ark; her mother-in-law Nelda Hirsh of Oakland; and her sisters-in-law, Kris Briggs of Denver and Jan Zorko (Rick) of Papillion.

A memorial has been established to Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Beatrice.
