She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Bartlett and Blanche Bartlett (Mann); her husband Kenneth Barnard; her parents-in-law, Lester and Viola Barnard; her brother Edward Bartlett; and her siblings-in-law, Paul Bender, Marion, Robert Barnard, Barbara, Lamar Barnard, Audrey and Paul Kuntz.
She is survived by: her children, David Barnard (Victoria), Bryan Barnard (Janet), Ann Engelman (Dean) of Jansen and William Barnard (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Joel Barnard (LaKendra) of Kansas City, Erica Weedin (Lucas) of Lincoln, Shannon Tefft (Brian) of Lenexa, Cacy Curtis (Aaron) of Rogers, Adam Engelman (Brooke) of Jansen, Evan Engelman (Felicia) of Omaha, Amie Hackler (Eric) of Jansen, Amanda Morris (Graydon) of Lincoln, Tyler Barnard of Des Moines and Samantha Barnard of Fort Collins, Colorado.; her great grandchildren, Layla, Eliette, Anders Weedin, Jacob, Benjamin Tefft, Hudson, Campbell Curtis, Allison, Preston, Sidney Engelman, Gabriel, Everly, Lennox Engelman, Ivy, Abram Hackler and Margot Morris; her sisters, Cora Jensby (Darrell) of Gilbert and Joyce Bender of Minden; and her sister-in-law Carol Bartlett of Lincoln. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harman - Wright Mortuary (623 Elk St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ellis United Methodist Church.
Memorials are suggested to the Ellis United Methodist Church and the Diller Community Foundation with the mortuary in charge.
