It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis J. Hansen of Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Leila Hansen (Hanson); and his brother Chris Hansen. He is survived by: his father Harold Hansen of Glenwood; his wife Janet Cook-Hansen of Beatrice; his children, Catelyn, Claire and Nicholas; and his sisters, Rhonda Gearhart (Kenny, Jr.) of Bellevue, Jodi Evans (Mark) of Glenwood, Melissa Hansen of Phoenix, Soni Garrett of Denver and Valerie Study.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
