He is survived by: his wife Dona; his son Dan Schweer (Tammy) of Clay Center; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Ty and Dylan Schweer; his sisters, Norie Berand of Tampa and Shirley Schweer of Omaha; his sister-in-law Gladys Schweer of North Platte; his nieces and nephews, Judy, Paul Butler, Jackie, Mike Heald, Jim, Sandy Bulin, Sally Moore, Pam, Gary Dein and Kris Schweer; and his close friends, Lois Knigge and Marilyn Gill.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
