He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel McPherson and Minnie McPherson (Petz); his wife Thelma Johnston; his son Steve; his grandsons, Robert Delabar Jr. and Matthew Donald Delabar; and his son-in-law Robert Delabar Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Donna Mulder (Robin) of Lincoln, Beth Delabar of Adams and Reverend Dean McPherson (Susie) of Omaha. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the United Methodist Church in Adams and the American Heart Association with the funeral home in charge.
