Dorothy Rockemann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Rockemann (Beatrice, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2025 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Rockemann to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob C. Ruigh and Estella Mae Ruigh; her daughter Sarah Louise Novotny of Odell; her husband Delbert Rockemann; her siblings, Lois Timmerman (Clifford), Paul Ruigh (Pauline) and Elizabeth; and her great grandchild Jackson Trusty.
She is survived by: her children, Kristin Ann Jurgens (Terry) of Odell and Daniel Rockemann (Gordon Stephen) of New Carrollton; her son-in-law John Novotny; her sister-in-law Theria Rockemann; and her friend Marjorie Epp. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the First Presbyterian Church, Nebraska PEO Home, and the ALS in the Heartland with the funeral home and Bette Anne Thaut in charge.
