He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Schuster and Ella Schuster (Paben); his sister Beverly Daubendiek (Armin); and his nephew David Daubendiek. He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Rye (Michael); and his siblings, Shirley Kruschke (Alden), Donald Schuster (Gayle), Ruth Parde (Ron) and Wayne Schuster (Rita). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
