He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mercer and Grace Mercer (Livesley); his stepmother Polly Mercer; and his son Zachary Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Norma Mercer; his children, Jennifer Washburn (Chris) of Plymouth, Cathy Domino (David) of San Antonio, Mindy Bursovsky of Beatrice, Brandin Mercer (Randa Grof) of Lincoln, David Mercer, JayQuan Cook of Beatrice and Luke Kling (April) of Fairbury; his grandchildren, Skye, Cael, Catrina Washburn, Jack, Warren Bursovsky, Chase Stevens and Jaxon Domino; his sister Donna Arnold (Bill); and his cousin Joy Todd of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A prayer will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Community Church (2727 Lincoln St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
