She was predeceased by: her father Emmett "Jay" Carnes Jr. Growing; her daughter Abbegayle Toland; her father-in-law Terry Toland; her uncles, Arlin Carnes, Harold Bartlett and Paul Koperski; and her grandparents, Rosina, Emmett Carnes, Helen and Harry Schwab.

She is survived by: her husband Danny Lee Toland; her children, Cody Toland and Brielle Toland; her stepdaughter Heather Hardy; her grandchildren, Cora Munson, Emmett Toland and Carter Toland; her sisters, Amanda Kuhlman (Matt) and Ellen Carnes; her mother-in-law Debbie; her stepparents-in-law, Mark McCreary and Rhonda Toland; her brother-in-law Kris Toland (Latoya); her nieces, Skyler and Hayley Kuhlman; her nephew Patrick Toland; Brenda Carnes. She is also survived by aunts and uncles; and a community of dear friends.

The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice from noon until. 8:00 P.M. on Monday with the family greeting friends and other relatives from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established to St. John Lutheran Church music and youth programs, and a scholarship fund will be set up through the Beatrice High School for seniors dealing with epilepsy and or diabetes with Liz and Al Eckhoff in charge.
