He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his children, Rebecca "Becky" Kunc (Doug) of Lincoln and Jim Hansen Jr. of Beatrice; his granddaughters, Megan Larsen (Stephanie) and Elizabeth Pedersen (Michael); his great grandchildren, Anthony and Alex Pedersen; his brothers, Michael Hansen (Elva) of Missouri, Gary Lynn Hansen (Eunice) of Minden, John Hansen of Wymore and Dan Hansen of Beatrice; and his sisters-in-law, Twilla Kisling of Beatrice and Sharon Hansen of York. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
