She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorin Bartels and Della Bartels Sr. (Little); her niece Sheila Bartels; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Bartels. She is survived by: her sons, Matt Collins (Bonnie) of Lincoln, Shorty Cihal (Karla) of Crete and Marcus Cihal (Jen) of Firth; and her brothers, Lorin Bartels Jr. of Beatrice and Jim Bartels (Janet) of Creighton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation.
