He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane of Holmesville's Church; his children, Susan Clausen (John), Steve Greenwood (Lisa), Julie Collins (Jeff) and Virginia Gray (Gina Reedy); his grandsons, Andrew Greenwood (Amy) and Phillip Greenwood; his family, Joseph Clausen, Jessica Clausen, Valerie Clausen (Alex Hancock), Crystal Swanson (Caleb), Daniel, Nathanael Collins (Brianna), Janelle, Joanna, Christina, Hannah, Joshua and Elizabeth Collins; and his great grandchildren, Jayden Clausen, Sawyer, Dawson Hancock, Joyce and Noelle Collins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel (708 N 6th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A prayer was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the Centenary United Methodist Church (608 Elk St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Evergreen Home Cemetery (1202 US Hwy 136, Beatrice, NE 68310).
A memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
