He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ancel Whitton and LaVonne Fay Powers (Robinson); his partner Sandy; his daughter Buffy Kagy; and his siblings, Terry Whitton, Edna Steinberg and Alvina "Sally" Whitton.
He is survived by: his children, Tonja Stell (Vic Mittelstaedt) of Missouri and Ancel Whitton (Kylie) of Plymouth; his son-in-law David Kagy of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Kaylie, Erich, Tanner, Erial, Baylee, Blakelynn, Emerson, Jerica, Cassandra, Ransom and Kelbie; his great grandchildren, Taleya, Dayton, Daxtin, Emberlee, Harlow, Lalanie and Kaysen; and his sister Judy Crabtree of Texas. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pioneers Inn (305 N Main St, Gilead, NE 68362).
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of the mortuary.
