The lying in state was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel (708 N 6th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (423 Maple St, Odell, NE 68415). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Czech National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the building fund for the new Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Odell with the funeral home and Brad & Amy Vitosh in charge.
