It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariane Young Noakes (Beatrice, Nebraska), who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas C. Barnes and Elizabeth M. Barnes; her former husband Charles Young of Filley; her husband Don Noakes; her stepson Dee Noakes; and her son-in-law John Palombi.

She is survived by: her children, Tom Young (Jane) of Filley, Judith Eychner (George) of Kerrville and Patricia Palombi of Jacksonville; her stepdaughter Kim Behrens (Rick) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Scott Eychner (Tanya), Brad Eychner (Jonelle), Susan Daniel (Duke), Jeffery Canup, Leigh Canup, Jessica Young, Marcy Illies (Jody) and Andrew Young (Christine); and her stepgrandchildren, Eric Behrens (Aaron) and Sarah Bray (Brandon). She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Filley Cemetery with the mortuary in charge.
