It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mark Whitney of Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Mark departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mark. Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Broken Bow Evangelical Free Church (2079 Memorial Dr, Broken Bow, NE 68822).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Homeward Trail Bible Camp or Maranatha Bible Camp.
