He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Wolken and Emma Wolken (Trauernicht); his son Terry Lee Wolken; his brothers, Lester and LaVerne Wolken; and his son-in-law Russell Schoen.
He is survived by: his children, David Wolken (Lisa Woodyard Svoboda) of Beatrice, Judy Fritzen (Duane) of Filley, Gail Schoen (Bob Stevens) of Camdenton, MO, Shari Schlake of Lincoln and Lori Weaver (Devon) of Omaha; his brother Leon Wolken (Carlyne); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Wolken of Adams and RoJane Wolken of Beatrice. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family for future designation.
